The new B-52+ PLUS Sideshields by Safety Optical add the exclusive SAFETYWING to its impressive list of patented protected features. It is easily adjustable for universal attachment to the broad spectrum of safety frames found in the real world workplace - large, medium and small. The SAFETYWING adds new dimensions for total side shield protection, top-side-bottom, as apposed to mere lateral coverage offered by ordinary eyeglass sideshields.

Superior High Velocity Impact Resistance and Visual Clarity are obtained from the use of rigid, optical grade GE Lexan Polycarbonate Resin found in all Safety Optical eyeglass sideshields. Soft PVC side shields are easily deformed when impacted and will facilitate entry of a projectile into the ocular area that eyeglass sideshields are intended to protect. PVC sideshields lack clarity and will impair peripheral vision.

The Comfort Cushions enhance facial conformity and permit shield customization to block entry of foreign debris into the ocular region and will dramatically reduce foreign body eye injuries. The patented Safetywings provide superior coverage to protect the orbital area of the eye and mitigate damage to the delicate bone structure. This exclusive Safetywing feature is not available on any other sideshields in the market today! The optional comfort cushions allow custom facial fitting that dramatically minimizes injuries from foreign debris and wind blown particulates. The inclusion of both sideshields in the same package also offers the best solution to a multitude of issues created by hundreds of proprietary temple mounted sideshields and the need to be OSHA compliant. One SM-5327 Compliance Safepack Plus easily conquers the challenges posed by OSHA, ANSI, and all of the different frame shapes and sizes from a single dispensing pack. The tint for the B-53+ Sun-Mate and B-27+ Sun-Mate Universal sideshields is intended exclusively for GLARE PROTECTION ONLY and is not to be used for IR protection (infrared radiation) which is commonly produced during welding applications.
