Gunk Engine Degreaser Function And Application: Removes grease and
grime from auto, power mower, marine and tractor
engines, metals, concrete and tires, industrial equipment
were water is permitted.

Gunk Engine Degreaser User Directions:
1) Engine must be off and cool.
2)Cover distributor, electronic components, carburetor, and
air intake systems. Care must be taken with all
underhood wiring and electronic sensors or components.
Minimize rinse water that can cause performance
problems. Exposed electrical conductors (cracked or
frayed wires or EC unit) can short circuit.
3) Spray generously on dry engine. Wipe any overspray from
exterior body surfaces with a wet cloth at once to avoid
dewaxing or streaking paint.
4) Allow ENGINE BRITEENGINE CLEANER to soak for 10 to 15 minutes (brush
unusually heavy deposits).
5) Rinse with a fine stream of water from top down.

6) When complete, remove all covers and replace any
removed parts. Start engine immediately and idle for 15
minutes to assure complete drying.
NOTE: Never start your engine after you have applied
ENGINE BRITE-ENGINE CLEANER until entire engine is
thoroughly rinsed.
Gunk Engine Degreaser Product Limitations: Rinse overspray from exterior
body surfaces immediately to avoid dewaxing orstreaking paint. Avoid use of Engine Brite® on rubber
tile, asphalt, black top or other surfaces affected by
petroleum solvents.
Gunk Engine Degreaser Precautions: Contains (CAS#) Ethoxylated Nonyl
Phenol (9016-45-9, Aliphatic Petroleum Distillate (68476-
34-6), Aromatic Petroleum Distillate (64742-94-5), 2-
Butoxy, Ethanol (111-76-2), Sodium Petroleum Sulfonate
(68608-26-4), and Carbon Dioxide Propellant (124-38-9).
Flammable. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. If
ingested, do not induce vomiting. Call Poison Control
Center, Physician, or Hospital Emergency Room
Immediately. For eye contact, flush with water for at
least 15 minutes while lifting eyelids and get prompt
medical attention. For skin contact, wash with soap
and water. Inhalation: If breathing becomes difficult, get
prompt medical attention.
Gunk Engine Degreaser Storage & Handling: Use in a well-ventilated area.
Store in a cool place, under 1200F. Keep away from
heat, sparks or flame. Do not puncture or incinerate
container.

Gunk Engine Degreaser Disposal: SAFEGUARD OUR ENVIRONMENT...Disposal of rinse water in water
courses, sewers, or on the ground may be prohibited.
Such disposal is prohibited in California. Proper disposal
includes collecting and evaporating the rinse water and
recycling or disposal of any residue in accordance with
state and local law.
